Aloha,
My name is KÄ“haunani Manuola-Dasalla. I was a former Social Media Editor and former Lifestyle Assistant Editor for the PCC Courier. I also volunteered as the Social Media Manager for Kaua'i's Waimea Town Celebration events. I received my Associates of Arts in Journalism at Pasadena City College. I am currently going to school for my Bachelors Degree in Journalism at Univesity of Hawai'i Manoa.
I am an aspiring journalist whose main focus is culture journalism but also have an interest in covering a variety of topics ranging from entertainment, news, and much more. I was born and raised in Los Angeles California. I am currently studying journalism and on my down time I write and publish my own work here on my blog website.

As an aspiring writer, my one focus is to cover stories relating to culture. With culture becoming watered down from generation to generation, I feel that as an aspiring writer I want to remind everyone that we come from a line of ancestors who admired and respected their traditions, beliefs, and customs. I believe that we need to be aware of where we come from and who we are.

I hope that with my passion for delving into cultures and telling the stories about the traditions and customs and so on, that others will be inspired to connect with their ancestors as well as roots.
My only hope is that I gain readers who will enjoy as well as become informed about things they never knew before.
